Llŷn Angling - Who are we?

We are an established business of over 50 years, based at Pwllheli, the gateway to the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales and run by anglers for anglers. We provide a wide range of equipment, fishing tackle and bait for the Coarse, Game and Sea angler from Abu, Ammo, Berkley, Gemini, Jarvis Walker, Kamasan, Masterline, Rovex and many other major suppliers. We also stock a wide range of binoculars and telescopes by Visionary, Optical Hardware and Olivon for the naturalist, bird watcher and astronomer.

We pride ourselves on our service to you, the customer and fellow angler. We will offer you all the advice you need to help you choose the right tackle for your angling. We believe that the angling around Llŷn is some of the finest in the country and we aim to ensure that you experience the best that this beautiful area has to offer.

If you are new to angling, or just want to give it a try, come and visit at the tackle shop in Pwllheli and we will make sure that you get the most out of your experience. We are confident that once you have tried it, you will be hooked and want to return to the Llŷn Peninsula again and again.

We also provide a rod repair service and can replace damaged rod rings for you. Tip rigs can normally be replaced in just a few minutes and you can be out fishing again. Other rings will take a bit longer. Bring your damaged rod into the shop and we will discuss the options that suit you and get you back out using your fishing rod as soon as possible.
